Commitment

PAGCOR's Commitment to Responsible Gaming

PAGCOR requires gaming establishments to follow the Responsible Gaming Code of Practice. The purpose is to reduce harm to individual players and the wider community, prevent gambling addiction, and stop underage gambling before it starts.

ApexGame88 supports this commitment as part of operating under PAGCOR monitoring.

Eligibility

Who Is Not Allowed to Gamble

Government officials and employees directly connected with government operations or its agencies
Members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP)
21+
Persons under 21 years of age

Play safe

How to Gamble Responsibly

If you choose to play, keep these principles in mind:

Play for entertainment, not income.

Treat any money you spend as the cost of entertainment, not as an investment or a way to earn money.

Set a time and money limit before you start,

and stick to it no matter what happens during the session.

Expect to lose.

Gambling outcomes are not guaranteed, and losing is always a real possibility.

Never borrow money to gamble.

If you do not have it to spend, do not play with it.
Do not let gaming replace your relationships, work, or other parts of your life that matter to you.

Avoid chasing losses.

Trying to win back what you lost usually leads to losing more.

Warning signs

Signs of Problem Gambling

Recognizing the early signs of problem gambling can help you or someone you care about take action before things get worse. Watch out for:

Spending or betting more money than you intended to
Playing for much longer than you originally planned
Repeatedly trying to win back money you have already lost
Increasing debt, unpaid bills, or other financial trouble because of gambling
Thinking about gambling constantly, even when not playing
Borrowing, stealing, or selling belongings to keep gambling
Strained or damaged relationships and family ties because of gambling
Feelings of hopelessness, emotional distress, or depression linked to gambling
Gambling negatively affecting multiple areas of your life at once

If any of these sound familiar — whether for yourself or someone close to you — it may be time to seek support.
